Tampa Bay Orthopaedic Specialists Physical Therapy Center is a state of the art rehabilitation center that provides Physical, Occupational and Hand Therapy services. These services include advanced therapy for: sports injuries, orthopaedic injuries, joint replacement, hip fractures, geriatrics including arthritis and osteoporosis.

 

Karen Baker, PT, CERT, MDT is the director of Tampa Bay Orthopaedic Specialists Physical Therapy Center. She is a magna cum laude, graduate of Florida A&M University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Karen is credentialed by The McKenzie Institute, USA and earned the designation of Certified Mechanical Diagnostic Therapist with an emphasis on prevention and treatment of spinal dysfunctions. Karen has over twenty years experience in the field of orthopedic physical therapy.

 

The physical therapists work closely with your referring physician. They will evaluate your medical history and design an individual program of therapy. Programs can include therapies for the relief of pain; decreasing the effects of injury; increasing, restoring, or maintaining ranges of motion and physical strength. The center provides superior patient care to help achieve the optimum recovery.
