Tampa Bay Specialty Surgery Center, of Pinellas Park, Florida, is an ambulatory surgery center, providing outpatient surgical services for orthopaedic surgery, gastroenterology, cosmetic surgery, and pain management. .Tampa Bay Specialty Surgery Center was founded in June 2003 by a group of nationally renowned orthopaedic surgeons Their  vision was to develop an outpatient center that would provide their patients with the latest medical technology, that offered less invasive surgical techniques,  faster recovery times, and exceptional patient care at an affordable cost.

The 7881-square foot surgery center has three fully integrated digital multi-media operating rooms that are equipped with 3-D video imaging systems, digital remote light cameras, scopes, and plasma monitors. . This advanced technology allows the surgeon to note clinically significant anatomy and transmit the digital images and data to other medical experts for immediate consultation.

The Center is a dedicated teaching institute providing the Tampa Bay area superior state of the art equipment and advanced technology. TBSSC has a multi media and broadcast system used for remote learning and tele-conferencing. Live surgeries can be broadcast via satellite, or web-cast to medical conferences allowing surgeons from around the world the opportunity to communicate and learn.

TBSSC is supported by a highly skilled team of registered nurses and surgical technicians specially trained in surgical and recovery care. The staff is committed and dedicated to provide the highest quality patient care available. All 25 physicians practicing at TBSSC are Board Certified. The Center is licensed by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration and is certified by Medicare.

Types of outpatient surgical procedures performed include:
• Orthopaedics- Procedures for extremities, shoulders, knees, sport injuries, hand, foot and ankle.

• Gastroenterology -   Upper and lower gastroenterology procedures.

• Pain Medicine- Facet blocks, ESI joint blocks, discograms, pain pumps, spinal cord stimulators.

• Cosmetic -Face lifts, blepharplasty (eyelids), endoscopic brow lift, chin, & check implants.
